WJ Group health, safety and Innovation commitment have been recognised by the Road Safety Markings Association (RSMA) with two prestigious awards at the recent 2018 Annual Conference. Innovation in manual handling with the WJ Automatic Bag Loading Conveyor won the prestigious Health & Safety Initiative of the Year Award, whilst the WJ Robotic PreMarker scooped the Road Marking Innovation of the Year Award.
The RSMA Industry Awards aim to capture and promote road marking health and safety best practice whilst also encouraging innovation to find new and safer ways of doing the job.
Wayne Johnston, WJ Group Managing Director commented “These valued RSMA accolades come soon after receiving other industry Health, Safety and Innovation Awards which surely reflects the continued investment, hard work and commitment to our core values from everyone within WJ. We are encouraged by the recognition and will readily share our best practice ideas in the hope of raising
industry standards overall”.
WJ Group has benefited from an initiative that proactively drives engagement with their workforce, recognising them to be the most qualified group of people to identify opportunities for continual improvements in their road marking operations.
Safety and Innovation are two of WJ’s core values which are fully embedded into their culture.
