Research and Development
Working from modern laboratories WJ invests heavily in research and development to fuel our desire for innovation and continuous improvement goals.
WJ has a highly qualified technical team with extensive industry experience, but we also work closely with the Open University and raw material suppliers to ensure a more comprehensive approach to development. This has enabled us to develop an award-winning range of products and significantly reduce our scope 3 emissions in our thermoplastic materials.
We also benefit from our own in-house engineering and manufacturing facilities, we have invested heavily in developing vehicles, and equipment that are safer both for operatives and the wider public. On top of this, we are also continually innovating to ensure we can reach our target of net zero operationally by 2032 and be far more sustainable as a business.
